Judging at Young Scientists’ Symposium 2026

We thank Chen Ying for helping to nurture the next generation of scientists! She served as a judge for oral presentations at the Young Scientists’ Symposium 2026 held at Science Centre Singapore last Thursday. Particularly impressive was the presentation by Ignacia Nathar Yi Ni Si from Republic Polytechnic, who shared about how insect-derived antimicrobial extracts can protect our crops from pathogens via direct inhibition and immune priming. We are impressed by the talented work showcased by all the young scientists, and look forward to their future contributions to Singapore’s research!
