A throwback to our Stem Cell Society Singapore (SCSS) Symposium 2025last month. We had a very engaging pre-symposium workshop co-organized with STEMCELL Technologies and Thermo Fisher Scientific to equip our younger talents with the knowledge to better appreciate the main symposium. We started with seminars on the key basic concepts of stem cells and their research, followed by a panel discussion, then ending with a hands-on workshop to experience stem cell lab work.
The following three days were packed with informative lectures on the recent advances in stem cell research, with keynote speakers Martin Pera and Duanqing Pei.
We also had the pleasure to host two signing ceremonies for Memorandum of Understanding: between Agilent Technologies and National Heart Centre Singapore; and between Australasian Society for Stem Cell Research (ASSCR) and Stem Cell Society Singapore.
Lastly, we congratulate Dr Andy Kah Ping Tay for being receiving the SCSS-Dr Susan Lim Award for Outstanding Young Investigator Award, and hope all our speakers enjoyed the conference dinner.
